How to Create and Use Onboarding Templates in Lyniro

Templates are the most powerful way to save time in Lyniro. Define your onboarding once — reuse it for every customer.

Creating Templates

Build your first reusable onboarding blueprint.

What is a template and why should I use one?

A template is a reusable blueprint for an onboarding plan. You define your standard stages, tasks, and notification settings once. When you create a plan for a new customer, you select the template and everything is pre-populated automatically.

Without templates: you manually recreate the same tasks for every new customer. With templates: new customer plans are ready in seconds.

What are good stage names to use?

Common stage structures used by CS teams:

  • Standard SaaS: Kickoff → Setup → Training → Go-Live
  • Enterprise: Discovery → Procurement → Technical Setup → Pilot → Rollout
  • Quick start: Activate → Configure → First Value
  • Re-onboarding: Review → Migration → Launch

💡 Tip: Match your stage names to how you talk about onboarding internally. Consistency with your team's language helps adoption.
